The moment we arrived, Gayan, the host, welcomed us with genuine warmth and was a wealth of information about the area. It felt wonderful to connect with someone passionate about sharing their home and culture. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi — perfect for unwinding after a busy day. My colleagues and I particularly appreciated the location, which provided a peaceful escape just a stone's throw away from the bustling city center. In the evenings, we indulged in the delightful homemade meals prepared by Gayan's family; I must say, the chicken kottu was a highlight! Just a quick walk brought us to the picturesque Kandy Lake and the vibrant Temple of the Tooth. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in local life, I highly recommend Cloud Inn as a welcoming base that beautifully balances comfort and cultural experience.
